Our Services

Meals on Wheels enhances the quality of life of homebound individuals and seniors in Greenville County by providing nutritious meals, personal interaction and independence.

Our Meal Delivery Program

The meal preparation and delivery program is the heartbeat of our organization—and how we got our name. Meals on Wheels of Greenville relies on our volunteers to deliver a hot meal every weekday to more than 1,500 of your homebound neighbors in Greenville County. Our clients have limited means to prepare a nutritious meal for themselves and little or no support during the weekday. We prepare our menu on a four-week rotation and vary the meals based on a client’s diet restrictions, making sure that each meal is both delicious and nutritionally complete.

Frozen & Holiday Meal Program

In addition to providing hot, nutritious meals every Monday through Friday, each week we deliver frozen meals to over 200 clients who need extra support. These frozen meals help our clients remain independent over the weekend or while family members or caretakers are away. We also provide holiday meals for all of our clients while our offices are closed.

Our Referral Network Program

Meals on Wheels is about so much more than the meal. While delivering meals, our volunteers check-in with clients daily and monitor their well-being. In addition, they serve as a link between homebound clients and our staff members, who can connect clients to other community-based services such as transportation, home health services, financial services, home repair and handicap access modifications. Browse our list of community resources to see the organizations that partner with Meals on Wheels to help the homebound remain independent.
